About Us

Fem de la Femme is a new comedy night that has took Liverpool by the short and curlies.  We are a raucous sell-out  night of comedy and spoken word from some of the best women comics and poets on the circuit. We run on the 4th Thursday of the month at the Liverpool Everyman Bistro on Hope Street and tickets are only at the price of a posh pint.  Book now to come and join the mayhem of one of Liverpool’s most talked about comedy nights!  (Please note tickets sell very quickly so book in plenty of advance to avoid disappointment).

We were over the moon to have Hayley with us in December 2022, she won the North West Comedy award for best Act and best MC in 2022.

Hayley is a former gag writer for Russell Howard’s Good News televison programme and has written for 8 out of  10 Cats.

Hannah Byczkowski

It was fantastic to have Hannah perform at Fem de la Femme in November 2022, she is quick Witted and hilariously compelling, Hannah has been named a “powerhouse performer who has grabbed live comedy by the scruff of the neck and given it a jolly good kicking”

She was the winner of the Frog and Buckets beat the Frog in 2021 and joint winner of BBC TV’s The Traitors TV Show in 2022

It was an absolute riot to have Anna at our launch night at the Everyman back in September 2022. She is the winner at The BBC New Comedy Award 2021 and was nominated ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year” at The North West Comedy Awards 2022

"An innocent old gentleman, more used to the world of Fiery Jack liniment and Antiques Roadshow, sat quietly in the front row, I'd been snared in as an unsuspecting guest because my daughter was one of the turns. Lights down, showtime, and the state of the economy faded into "who cares" as one after the other of these fantastic comedians and spoken word artists, any of whom could grace any stage, plunged me into a world of zany, of fantasy, of real life, od deep waxing nether regions, of talking vaginas, of jaw clenching laughter. I've seen a lot of live theatre in my 78 years, this evening at the Everyman, with Claire Berry aiding and abetting the wonderful organised chaos, will live in my memory as one of the best. We love to mix it up at Fem de la Femme so we also give a platform to spoken word artists. We have amazing women poets strutting their word stuff on our line-ups.

Charity

Fem de la Femme is very keen to support charities and organisations that support women’s health, right’s and wellbeing. As such, we nominate different women’s charities whom we help raise awareness for and fundraise for through our regular raffle. We have had some amazing support from local businesses donating goods and services. If you feel you may be able to help with donations, please do get in touch. So far we have raised £509 for RASA Merseyside who offer counselling to victims of sexual assault.  We have also raised £507 and collected over £200 worth of period products so far for The Period Project Merseyside. Currently we raising money for Wirral Womens and Childrens Aid. If you are a charity or organisation that works with woman and you think we may be able to help do get in touch.

Find Your Funny Workshops

Find your Funny workshops are creative, comedy and laughter workshops for women to explore their comedic voice, develop their self -confidence and simply be silly in the company other like – minded women.

Finding our funny to tell our stories can sometimes be incredibly powerful, empowering and even healing. The workshops offer you the opportunity to take a break, laugh a lot and tap into your inner comedian in a very supportive and encouraging environment. So whether you’re interested in getting up on stage or you just want to have a bit of fun (as all girls do) these workshops are for you.
